Owned and operated by a team of qualified complementary health practitioners, and tucked away just off the main street in Cowes, you will find our peaceful little store. Combining a traditional health & bulk food store, with a space to showcase what our beautiful Bass Coast, and wider Gippsland region has to offer, we love providing an alternative shopping experience for our local community and visitors alike.

Bulk and Refills

We love supporting you on your zero waste shopping journey, with over 250 bulk food/refill otions available, and more being added regularly. Our wall of loose leaf teas, herbs and spices is much loved by our locals and visitors alike.

Supplement and herbal dispensary

We have an extensive range of high quality supplements avaialble in store, as well as practitioner-only ranges in our clinic space, including a large liquid herbal dispensary. We are happy dispense on behalf of your own practitioner under their direction.

Health food and Grocery

A traditional health food store at our core, we offer a large range of general health foods and grocery items, with lots of options to suit dietary restrictions and preferences.

We love our books! We have titles new and old, focusing on all things health, well-being and of course FOOD!

We have an extensive range of low-tox, eco friendly home cleaning products and personal care, including cosmetics, skincare, and homewares.

We are passionate about supporting local, thats why we source what we can from our local Bass Coast and Gippsland region first. We opt for Australian grown or produced, and organic wherever possible.

We know and love Phillip Island

The Corner Dispensary takes its foundation from what was originally created by Angel Foster and her family back in 1996. Angel’s Health Foods was a traditional health food shop in every sense of the word, quickly becoming an essential and much loved part of the local business landscape. For 18 years Angel ran her shop with a passion for serving her community until sadly in 2014 she passed away, a loss which was felt by so many who had come to know and love Angel and what she had created. 

After working for the Foster family, and getting to know the local community as part of the team at Angel’s Health Foods, current owner Bianca was thrilled to be given the opportunity to take over the reins in 2017, and honored to continue the legacy of what Angel created. Since this time, the shop has continued to grow and evolve, and with that take on a name which depicts more closely what we are today.
